India Home was desperately looking for a vehicle to transport the seniors from their homes to the place of activity for the seniors. When Dr. Vasundhara Kalasapudi, President of India Home, approached Dr. Leena Doshi for help in starting the activities of India Home, Leena immediately recognized the need for a vehicle to transport the seniors. She immediately pledged her support to India Home and offered a vehicle for use by the seniors of India Home. Only a true business woman, like Leena, can understand, analyze and offer a solution to a problem instantly. That is what makes Leena an outstanding business-woman! On the top of this she has a heart of Gold, please do not mistake it as hard and tough, but it is the worth of her ideas of charity and concern for the poor that make her qualities aurous. She is no doubt a better half of Dr. Nitin Doshi and both of them are philanthropists unparalleled.

The charitable activities of The Doshi Family Foundation include enrichment programs for the high school students, aptly named the Doshi Difference program, establishment of two colleges in Kutch, India, support to various foundations (Pratham, Share and Care Foundations) that are dedicated to improve the life and skills of students in India and worldwide.
