Today’s Navratri Garba at India Home, Hicksville, was especially heartwarming, but what touched me most was the people behind the celebration: the ever-present smiles, fresh enthusiasm, warm greetings, loving invitations to participate, engaging conversations, and those unexpected acts of service offered so naturally. These may appear to be small gestures, but together they create something extraordinary: a feeling of belonging that makes people eagerly look forward to every Tuesday and Friday at India Home.
The celebration may bring people together, but it is the warmth of the people that makes them want to return.
