Kishanbhai – A Versatile Artist

Dear Well Wishers,
When Kishanbhai sang “Kal khel mein hum ho na ho, Gardish mein taare rahenge sada. Bhoologe tum bhoolenge woh, Par hum tumhare rahenge sada” at his 80th BirthDay celebration held in Satyanarayan Mandir last night (3/6/25), I told him Bhaisab, you also should sing “Har dil jo pyaar karega vo gaana gaayega, Deevaana sainkadon men pahachaana jaayega…”

It was my pleasure to say few words on his milestone 80th birthday and I shared couple of creative andartisttic posters as a memory upon his 80th. Well, he was surprised and overwhelmed…

Besides his artistic versatility, Kishanbhai is very funny, enthusiastic, kind and helpful person not only to India Home but, to everyone as well. In fact, “He brings a cheerful atmosphere”.

As you may know, Kishanbhai is a die-hard fan of Raj Kapoor. He is equation of the same. I do admire his energy at this age. He has great personality and sense of humor…

Though Raj kapoor’s “Mera Naam Joker” ambitious and philosophical film of his journey from childhood to adulthood as a circus clown exploring themes of love loss and the duality of laughter and sorrow ultimately becoming a cult classic despite initial commercial failure, our Kishanbhai kept Raj Kapoor’s legacy alive by performing as ‘Joker’ perfectly with real costume many times to India Home members. Thanx to Kishanbhai who kept Raj Kapoor’s legacy alive and ‘am sure he will continue to do the same in future to celebrate Raj Kapoor’s centennial year periodically every month…

Liluji has always supported Kishanbhaia’s performances. There is a saying, “behind every successful man, there is a woman” and that woman is Liluji…
