Dear Well Wishers,
The Milwaukee Art Museum is renowned for its architectural masterpiece, the Quadracci Pavilion, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Completed in 2001, the pavilion is an iconic addition to the museum’s campus, featuring a movable sunscreen with a 217-foot wingspan, a grand hall, and a pedestrian suspension bridge. The design, inspired by Gothic architecture and the shape of a ship, which located near Milwaukee river, incorporates elements like the 90-foot-high glass ceiling of Windhover Hall and the Burke Brise Soleil, a sunscreen that unfolds and folds twice daily…
Please enjoy attached my spectacular photos of the same when we visited Milwaukee 10 years ago. You will notice somewhat similarity or influence of WTC Oculus designed by the same Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava…
Take care with regards,
Jayant.
